The description was exact but no words can describe the exquisite design nor the landscape. It is an experience like no other. My 18 year old daughter and I stayed in an artists cottage and from the moment we spotted the property, we knew it was special. The communication and directions were excellent so our arrival and check in were seemless. It is pricey, but it deserves to be.

We stayed here for three nights during our 10-day trip to Iceland. Disa she is a very warm and beautiful host. The house has been renovated for 5 years and is still in progress. From the furnishings in the house, we can see her design intentions! We are very lucky to meet her boyfriend, who is a professional composer and plays traditional and modern folk songs on the piano. He also performs at the Icelandic Harpa Concert Hall.Thank to Disa we stayed very comfortably for three nights in Iceland. The bus station is right next to it, there are parks nearby, delicious bakeries and ice cream, everything here is so wonderful 😊

The location (close to the swimming pool) was good and not too far from the pick up points for the tours. The room and the bathrooms were clean. The shower was warm and very powerful. Internet was working very well. There was someone who cleaned the kitchen once a day as well. The Café, next door, was very cosy and friendly. The info given was useful and accurate.

Great stay at Guesthouse Aurora. Very nice room, very comfortable beds, table, lighting is fine, clean bathroom, no problem with wifi, very tasty breakfasts, kitchen in the Guesthouse available to guests all day long, great location of the hostel, very nice service. After checking out, we left our luggage for the day without any problems. I want to come back to Reykjavik someday and I will definitely choose Aurora again.

The location is perfect, very close to Halgrimmskirkja, also to the bus stop for excursions and transfers. The accomodation was really nice and clean. I reserved the room with shared bathroom and everything was clean. There's a good heating in the room, and the bed sheets are quite warm. The continental breakfast was really great.
