It was all we could imagine. The house was exceptionally clean and well-furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the bathroom was spotless and the room was very comfortable. The hosts left a book with useful info about the area and the history of their home and family.

The room was very big, but I think we got the biggest room because we also had a small private terrace. The location is very remote and is a nice touch the free tickets to the Viking Village. A lot of parking spaces and very close to Hofn, 10-15 minutes drive.

Big room and confortable bed. Book the room facing the glacier, the price is worth it. A little far from restaurants and shops, but tottaly worth it for the peace and quiet. They have breakfast and dinner available. There is a coffee station by the entrance but no one was changing and puting new coffee, so coffee was cold from the day before already. When you come to the room you feel there is something missing there, the room is so big and it only has a small table and 2 chairs. Big part of the wall is just empty. I think these rooms deserve a resting chair or a little sofa with a coffee table :) Nice and helpful staff at the reception. It was a really nice stay! 1h away from the Glacier Lagoon!
