YOU SHOULD DEFİNİTLY STAY MORE THAN ONE NİGHT! It's one of the best hostels i've ever stayed! The rooms has 2 big bathrooms!! It's super comfy and clean room, has water dispenser and cups -good breakfast with some choices -Amazing view <3 - working/reading room -the receptionist was amazing and very helpful explaining the transportation and places to visit+offered me a free coffee last day. From the absolutely stunning surroundings, to the incredibly comfortable and spacious room and the always beyond delicious food this home stay rates as one of our absolutely favourites. Extremely lovely hosts and beautiful gardens! It's a bit of a drive anywhere but the landscape out the car window makes the drive worth it every time. Our homestay recommended Ajeesh as a reliable driver while in Munnar and he didn't disappoint (he even drove into Fort Kochi to pick us up and take us back). He was always on time, careful and extremely reasonable ... highly recommend.

The location was great, hospitality of the host was incredible, they showed us around their property, which is basically spice and fruit garden. The host was nice, took good care of us and helped us also to arrange the driver for our trips around. The host was also exceptionally good cook and homemade breakfast and dinner were very delicious.

Exeptional homestay in the forest of Munnar This place is not the first choice when we booked homestay in Munnar. However some problem with the first choice booking, we have to find the other homestay only 1 day ahead, Then we found Green Shades. Thank god bringing us to Green Shades Very quick response when we asked anything before arriving. Sandosh and his team gave us the warm welcome when we arrived and arranged everything during 2 nights stay like day tour(tea garden, waterfall, cave, elephant weatching), Kathikali performances, tuktuk transfer to Munnar town and delicious simple breakfast and dinner. This homestay is in the forest area beside spice garden, The view from the room is great. The room is good and comfortable. The owner,George and his wife Sali is very lovely and kindness. Sali bring me to see her own spice garden in her homestay. There are many kind of spices she grow. Sali also welcome us in her own house and give me trying her delicious banana wine. We have very good memories with Green Shade.

We loved our stay at Maliyeckal Homestay, such a peaceful spot. The host family were so kind and helpful and wanted us to enjoy our stay and enjoy Munnar. Breakfast and dinners were great. About 10 minutes walk from the bus stop so easy to get in and out of Munnar once you get the hang of it.

Thomas and his wife were great hosts that care a lot about their homestay and their guest. We also really enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony, the cleanliness of the room and the homemade breakfasts. Thomas also organized some trips and a massage for us, so we were able to experience a lot. Thank you!
