Excellent stay! We were the only guests due to the bad climate. The entire house was ours providing privacy and a cozy, big room. The river view was amazing, though the bad weather limited outdoor enjoyment. The homely food from the ladies' kitchen was yummy and added to the comfort. A kettle with coffee/tea sachets was a nice touch, making our stay more pleasant. Despite the rain, it seemed like the place had a lot to offer! We will be back after the rains to enjoy the river.

The best place to have relaxing days. The property manager Arun was extremely kind and happy to provide whatever we needed. He also showed us the nature around, and did a 1h trekking to watch sunrise from the mountain. I loved the fresh watermelon juices, and drinking them in the pool. I would totally come back :D!!!

We loved our 2 nights at this homestay. What a lovely property and what a lovely family. The mum and dad were so so kind and friendly. They reminded me of my own grandparents a bit. Room was spacious, modern and clean with a tv and teabags to make tea which of course in Munnar is a must. They also arranged a tuk tuk driver for us who was also excellent. The home cooked food and fresh produce from their land was much appreciated.

The WiFi was as good as the best anywhere in India - absolutely brilliant and so useful for me. The food was very good and the location is superb barely 400 metres from the Ticket Office to the Bird Sanctuary. The staff help to contact guides and transport to get to hides and other areas for Birding and generally Basil will help with anything you need. Absolutely brilliant place to stay for Birders.

One of the most picturesque places we’ve visited in India. The perfect spot to fully recharge after a few weeks of travel. Room was comfortable, hosts were very helpful and breakfast and dinner were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed staying away from the busy city where we could sit outside reading our books in the sunshine listening to the birds. Bliss!
