We loved that Casa Menezes was an historic Portuguese house and that it was tucked away in a village in a quiet rural setting. David and Nicole are most welcoming, have excellent knowledge about where to go, what to see and where to eat. The rooms are spacious and have a sitting area inside and on the verandah.

Overlooking the whitewashed St. Sebastian Chapel, Afonso Guest House is located in the heart of Fontainhas, an old Latin Quarter. Free WiFi access is available.

Beautiful old house kept in excellent condition, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, in the picturesque Fontainhas neighbourhood of Panaji. The host and staff are very welcoming and accommodating, the rooftop terrace is lovely, filled with plants and offering beautiful views - perfect place to have breakfast. The homemade jam served with the goan bread was delicious, and whenever I was on the property I enjoyed the company of the friendly ginger cat resident, as well as that of the cute dogs visiting sometimes. Overall, it's been a great stay! Thank you!

Lovely large room, on two floors. Kitchenette and fridge. Huge comfortable bed, nice linen. Everything was spotlessly clean. Great shower. Efficient quiet AC. Beautifully kept garden - lots of birds to watch. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. The island makes a peaceful change from coastal Goa.

The room was very clean and well equipped. Check-in was also very smooth. The bathroom is also separated into wet and dry areas. The supermarket is also very close. The only problem is that the AC is attached to the window, so it is noisy. Also, there is a lot of traffic in the area, so it is dangerous to cross the street to go to the nearby supermarket. In addition, the area is very dusty due to construction work, so I don't feel like going out. However, the accommodation was very comfortable and I would recommend it. Thank you, Bruce!

This property and Mr Edward is a gem that we found in goa. He offered us his best room actually he showed us all rooms that were available and made us choose the room we wanted and ofcourse we choose the best. The room had everything that is listed in the description. The room was clean, it had glasses, plates, electric kettle, fans, AC, chairs, table, balcony, extra mattresses, towels, waterbottle, refrigerator. We took our own car but parking was not an issue. Mr. Edward helps in every way possible. The only con was that all charging points were not working otherwise the property was flawless.

I liked the room, it has 2 sections, one for bed snd tv, the other includes couch and closet in addition to a big bathroom, room is clean and in the middle of city center.

A truly tranquil stay. Sejjan and his staff made our time very worthwhile. He organized everything we asked for and gave us precious tips on what to do and how to. The rooms in this beautiful house are spacious and very comfortable. The food served was always freshly prepared and super tasty. The terrace where the food is served is nicely surrounded by greenery with a huge Jackfruit tree in the center. The location is a bit off the beaten path but that’s exactly what we were looking for. A 10 minute walk to the clean beach with watersports and plenty of shacks that offer sunbeds was very much acceptable. Thank you Marbella team for making our stay a memorable one.

We had a wonderful stay at Vivendo Rebelo. The rooms and the entire guest house were very clean, and all the necessities were provided. The neighbourhood is very safe and peaceful. Deric was very accommodating and helpful. He recommended sightseeing venues, restaurants and always provided information on whatever questions we had. We decided to extend our stay at the guest house due to the excellent experience we had there. I can warmly recommend Vivenda Rebelo.

The location was perfect. Only about 2 minutes walking to the beach, about 5 minutes to restaurants and famous street, but still in a side road where it was quiet at night. Rooms were one of the cleanest I had in India, especially in this price range. Total experience was very nice. Can recommend it
