Location is perfect. It is the perfect stay for your visit to Bodh Gaya. It is conveniently located near the Mahabodhi temple (short walking distance) and easy to find transportation to other city attractions both in Bodh Gaya/Gaya. It’s on one side of the Mahabodhi temple and there’s a direct path behind the temple without the craziness of the Main Street. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the temple/Local Market/Restaurant/Post office . Plenty of places to eat around and you can get tuktuks right outside the hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They even helped me book a reliable taxi back to the airport/Market. They always made sure I was comfortable and were willing to help with anything. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay at Nilam Guest House! We arrived very late (around 11:30 pm) and Sumit kindly waited for us. He helped us exchange money and told us where to get SIM cards the next day, which was really helpful after a long trip. The room and bathroom were very clean, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there was hot water too. Sumit and his family are truly wonderful people — kind, welcoming, and always ready to help.
