We had a wonderful stay in Cherai. This homestay made it a very memorable experience, even when only being there for one night. The host was eager to have a chat and told us of some nice places to go to. The room was beautiful and clean. We had delicious meals made by the family themselves. Having breakfast in there living room, made it an authentic experience. The brother of the host would drive us around in his Tuktuk. And since we travelled to the next place on a festival day, the host decided to bring us himself to Munnar. Which is an 5 hour drive. So, we were very grateful and had a great drive with him.

I recently had an incredible stay at Blue Bird Homestay near Cherai Beach, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the things needed for a relaxing stay. The view from my room was stunning, and it was so peaceful that I could truly unwind. One of the highlights was the location – it’s just a short distance from Cherai Beach. The hotel offered a great variety of dishes, including some delicious local Kerala specialties, which were a treat! Breakfast was a delight. We've spent an awesome time at this gorgeous place. One can enjoy the sunrise at the lake and the sunset at the beach is in only a few minutes walking distance reachable. It's a very peaceful place to relax. The owner and staff are very friendly and hospitable. We can highly recommend this accomodation.

The room was great, as expected when booked, clean and as described AC and WIFI worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly for everything we needed for the stay, felt very welcomed. The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had at Cherai Beach, was always busy in the evening which is always a good sign. I would happily recommend.
