I arrived at this guest house with the flu, the host went above and beyond to take care of me. He took care of all my needs (food, medicine, toiletries, sim card, etc.). He personally nursed me back to health. I felt cared for like family and for that,I am forever grateful.

Everything was great about Marina Homestay and ended up staying for many days. It’s a nice place in a spacious open field, though the most impressive thing was the staff and owners they are an inspirational family and I felt warmly welcomed which was a delightful surprise. There was group from Thailand staying there who were also very friendly and welcoming too which all contributed to my stay and wholesome experience of Bodh Gaya after 20 years since my first visit there… Marina home stay is a little away from the main Maha Bodhi temple but this means that it’s a quiet peaceful place and there are some local temples close by like the 21 Tara Devi temple which is exquisite. So really Marina home stay was perfect for me and well recommended. Thank you 👁️🙏👁️

We had a great experience at Momotaro House. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. When we came the host offered us excellent Japanese tea. It was so relaxing and quiet in the middle of intensity of travelling in India. The guesthouse was very clean, and mosquito nets were provided, also washing mashine was there. Apart from the rooms, and kitchen, there was an extra living room, with very large balkony, which created homely and cosy atmosphere. Arigatou🙏

I personally liked the property owner Islam is very polite and helpful. And ofcourse the family members too are good. The location is not too far from the Mahabodhi temple,..walkable distance otherwise autorikshas are available. .very safe for the solo travellers You can get any info through Islam.

Probably our best stay in all of India! We arrived in Gaya on the train after 3am. Sumit the owner waited for us to arrive and helped us navigate with our tuk tuk driver from the station. The location is walking distance to restaurants and temples. Room was.perfectly clean, and the AC was great! I would recommend for single travelers or couples. Wonderful and welcoming family that owns the homestay. Mahalo for our stay Trevor and Brittany- Honolulu, Hawaii

It's cheap, spacious, quiet (there was only one other guest), family-run, in the village. Local people doing their own stuff. The hard bed was good to me. There's a kitchen with a refrigerator and a small cooker to use. By paying more attention to few aspects and adding few more services, Sujata Buddha Homestay can be really appealing for travellers who look for accommodation off the tourist zone but still at a reasonable distance from the main attractions.

The homestay was situated near Mahabodhi Bihar, just a short walk from the Bihar and other eateries. I chose this place because they offered an early morning checkin. Sunita aunty was very warm with us. The room and bed linens were clean, and the AC worked fine. We were provided with necessary amenities such as tissues, soaps, glasses, and even mosquito nets. My mom really enjoyed the experience.
