On many of our short-stay trips to towns and cities we want to enjoy dining out in restaurants, rather than feeling tied to a hotel. Long Quay House gave us the joy of an excellently maintained and run bed and breakfast, with a friendly, family-run feel. You are made to feel very much at home. Parking was free and much nearer than we had expected from the website, being just a two minute walk away. A host of welcoming shops, restaurants and pubs within very easy walking distance. We will definitely try to stay at Long Quay House again if we are in the area.

Amazing location. The service was next level. The staff were so attentive and helpful whether it was booking dinner reservations or suggestions of things to see/do or which bus to take to get to our next destination. It was by far the nicest, most luxury place we stayed in Ireland and it was such a treat! From the beautifully appointed guest rooms to the gorgeous sitting rooms and the lovely bar area where we had such a nice cuppa with some cake after a long day of walking and exploring. It is all done so beautifully. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. It had the nicest options and were the best breakfasts we ate in Ireland by a mile. Not sure what their parking is like if you have a car as we came on the bus but it's essentially across the street from the bus stop and very close to the adorable downtown and a nice walk to the Fort.

If you like staying in old characteristic Inns this is the place for you! Located in the center of Kinsale this Inn has been completely refurbished. It is quaint with a pub and dining room. Our room was large with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit small but this can be expected in Old buildings. The staff were excellent and very accommodating.
