Thou there are some teething issues, but to my amazing the customer oriented host, Mr Dimmer is attentive and friendly - always ready to help. The home stay is about 800 m away from jetty. You can contact the host prior to arrival. He is more than happy to provides free shuttle and pick up service. Homestay is located lake front, morning and evening breeze make you pleasing. The room is sparkling cleaned with towels and basic amenities. Eatery outlets or warung and minimart are at walking distance. The home stay has car or motorcycle for rent if you need one. We stayed 3 nights here and truly enjoyed. Highly recommended. We will come back to this homestay if we are back to Samosir Island 🏝.

What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! Thank you wonderful Hub Tata Team💫 Cushla & Lawrie

Juma is a really nice place to stay. Very nice apartments (mine had a really nice balcony) with beautiful view on Toba lake. Best of staying at Juma was the owner Pino, who made me feel at home, and made an itenary for me every morning when I rented a scooter and traveled the area.

Nice location, straight at the lake with a nice garden. The owners are super nice and offer laundry, scooter rental, booking of taxi etc. Rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. . They also have a restaurant on the the other side of the road. I had almost all my meals there. It's really delicious and the portions are good. Would stay again here!

This place is 10/10. The family that run the guesthouse are amazing and go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. The view is fabulous!!! I wish I could have stayed for longer and will be telling everyone that goes to Lake Toba to stay here

The owner is such a great host! The lady is the best cook in Sumatara! She makes very good quality dishes, local taste. We rent motorbikes there and asked for laundry service, nothing was a problem. Location and garden is beaitiful.

Beautiful homestay directly at the lake with beautiful view. The food is delicious! Very fresh ingredients like super fresh vegetables. Loved it. Renting a scooter was super easy and they were super friendly. Would always book again!

The view superb facing lake. The room has basic necessities (fan,bed,table,drying rack,towel,wardrobe) and its a good place if u just want to sleep & travel arounds. Very near to restaurant and got halal stall opposite ths homestay.

The location and setting of the homestay is amazing just on the lake and the wooden restaurant is really nice to chill in. I also had my first hot shower in Sumatra after 7 days which was great as not many homestays have hot water! The food served in the restaurant is also decent too if you're craving some western food again!

We had the greatest time at Leokap homestay. Three lovely sisters run the homestay and have a restaurant on the other side of the road. The food is amazing, you have to try! They even showed us how to do it so we could learn about indonesian cuisine. Originally we wanted to stay for 2 nights, but ended up extending to 5 nights. They have traditional Batak houses which is a great experience. The accomondation has enough space in the garden to relax and has a great view on the lake.
