This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—not just in a homestay but in any hotel we’ve stayed at. You’ll be welcomed by an amazing family who make you feel like you’re truly part of their own. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to join them on unique excursions like visiting cultural villages, learning to make coconut oil from scratch with the whole family, or exploring the rice fields with their cousin. The stay also includes a delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, and if you’d like dinner, you can enjoy it at their cozy little restaurant on-site. We had an unforgettable time and already can’t wait to come back. This family has made us feel like one of their own, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and generosity. Incredible accommodation in the middle of the rice fields. The view from the room is breathtaking. Rooms are clean and there is hot water. Warm welcome from Azman, Nuni and the whole family. It feels like home. The food is delicious and homemade, especially Olah Olah, Urap Urap and pineapple / banana pancakes 😋 Possibility of doing different classes (cooking, clay pottery, bamboo / wooven handicraft, silver smith / coffee / coconut oil process) and activities in the region. We particularly liked the tour with Azman through the rice fields, waterfalls and monkey forest. We met incredible people. It will remain in our memories forever. It has genuinely been the greatest experience in all of my travels in Indonesia because of the people. The place is owned and driven by a family who will welcome you. They don’t just want your money, they want to get to know you and are genuine. Overall, considering the price we paid which was really cheap, it was an exceptional experience that exceeded our expectations.

- We liked everything about the accommodation. The bed was cosy, everything was clean, the bathroom was very nice! - Sukri gave us a rice terrace tour and we made our own coconut oil with his family - it was wonderful & interesting! - all in all it is the perfect place to come down and have a real local experience. You live with Sukri's family, they are so hospitable and the whole family is always there. - In addition, the family cooks very tasty food! - We would come back in a heartbeat. We already miss Sukri and his family & will never forget this experience!!!

The food was amazing home cooked local food. The family were so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Had a great day out with Eddie and the evening chats and music with Jonny were great. A real opportunity to see what life was like for the locals and we would recommend it to everyone.

This review comes directly from the heart, for it was there where we met at Novia Guesthouse. Every experience is different, so please come with an open mind and heart and spend some days in Tetebatu. There‘s lots to discover. Waterfalls, local craft, ricefields and plants, etc. We booked most of the tours directly at the guesthouse. The food at the guesthouse is fresh and so tasty (please be aware that it might take a bit longer for the preparation, but its well worth the wait, as everything is prepared freshly). We got to experience the authentic Sasak culture here and we are very grateful for that. Thank you so much to Andi, Heru and the whole staff for making our time here truly special and unforgettable. It is really nice that the accomodation is far from the road, the view is amazing, it is quiet and the only thing you can hear are animals. The food is also really really good, and the host is super nice and friendly! You can also choose from a lot of different interesting trips around Tetebatu.

The best thing about this homestay was the incredible view and all the tours I did with the host Ramli. I had 4 nights here and there was plenty to see. The local craft makers, village, waterfalls and rice field walk, and climbing Pergasingan Hill. Such authentic experiences, especially meeting people where it felt like visiting friends for cups of tea and delicious snacks. The food at the homestay was delicious and plentiful, and the room spotless. Highly recommend!

I can only recommend this homestay! It has very basic facilities but is surrounded by beautiful rice fields. Izy, the host, and his whole family are really nice. He welcomed me with delicious food, was able to help with every question and offers interesting tours around Tetebatu. In the evening you can sit down with him and the family if you like and try some delicious ricewine. It also makes sense to eat there, because it tastes marvellous.

The Homestay was nestled among rice paddies & very peaceful. The host family, especially Izi, were kind and very friendly, and provided a wonderful service to make us feel very much at home. Breakfast was generous with large fruit salad & a choice of pancakes or local food

This accommodation is just awesome. It is very cozy and has everything you need. You have an awesome view on the mountain. Fendy is there for you 24/7 and will help you with whatever you neee. He cooks great local dishes with ingredients from the garden. 😋Also, he can take you to some nice places around and show you how the locals really live. I had the best time at Coconut Homestay and will definitely come back 👍🙌

Fantastic value for money. Picturesque and serene location. Clean and very comfortable homestay. The locals are so friendly. Adi was the perfect host, looked after us very well, and cooks delicious food. His nephew, Eddie, is a knowledgeable guide and owns the Tereng wilis bungalows up the road that has great food at his warung. There are a lot of mosques in the area, and the muezzins start early, but we got used to them very quickly.
