This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—not just in a homestay but in any hotel we’ve stayed at. You’ll be welcomed by an amazing family who make you feel like you’re truly part of their own. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to join them on unique excursions like visiting cultural villages, learning to make coconut oil from scratch with the whole family, or exploring the rice fields with their cousin. The stay also includes a delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, and if you’d like dinner, you can enjoy it at their cozy little restaurant on-site. We had an unforgettable time and already can’t wait to come back. This family has made us feel like one of their own, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and generosity. Just everything. We loved every second here. Our room was spacious, well equipped and clean. The food that Andy prepared for us was always really really tasty, the breakfast aswell as lunch and dinner. It’s all fresh cooked and local. Talking about Andy - he was definitively the highlight of our stay. He was always friendly, funny and just the best host u can wish for. The tour we did with him was also really good, we gained much information about local life, plants, animals and the authentic Lombok living. He told us so much, was always there for a chat and just really, really nice to be around. The other members of the staff were also really nice! Also the area of Tetebatu was so lovely and beautiful. The local wildlife as gecko’s and some other little animals are part of the area, so u have to be prepared to see them around. Remember: they were here before you ;) We would definitely stay here again. That was one of our best experiences on our whole trip through Southeast Asia.

The staff was amazing, we really felt like home and family. They have a restaurant inside and the food is delicious. We were in the local bungalow and really enjoyed the authenticity and the view. The room was comfortable and clean, good wifi. No AC but not necessary as it gets colder during the night. Our host also organises guided tour with Opik to see the rice fields, waterfalls, spices etc. We loved that tour as Opik was speaking english super well, has a lot of knowledge and was willing to share do much

The best thing about this homestay was the incredible view and all the tours I did with the host Ramli. I had 4 nights here and there was plenty to see. The local craft makers, village, waterfalls and rice field walk, and climbing Pergasingan Hill. Such authentic experiences, especially meeting people where it felt like visiting friends for cups of tea and delicious snacks. The food at the homestay was delicious and plentiful, and the room spotless. Highly recommend!

I can only recommend this homestay! It has very basic facilities but is surrounded by beautiful rice fields. Izy, the host, and his whole family are really nice. He welcomed me with delicious food, was able to help with every question and offers interesting tours around Tetebatu. In the evening you can sit down with him and the family if you like and try some delicious ricewine. It also makes sense to eat there, because it tastes marvellous.

The Homestay was nestled among rice paddies & very peaceful. The host family, especially Izi, were kind and very friendly, and provided a wonderful service to make us feel very much at home. Breakfast was generous with large fruit salad & a choice of pancakes or local food

This accommodation is just awesome. It is very cozy and has everything you need. You have an awesome view on the mountain. Fendy is there for you 24/7 and will help you with whatever you neee. He cooks great local dishes with ingredients from the garden. 😋Also, he can take you to some nice places around and show you how the locals really live. I had the best time at Coconut Homestay and will definitely come back 👍🙌

Fantastic value for money. Picturesque and serene location. Clean and very comfortable homestay. The locals are so friendly. Adi was the perfect host, looked after us very well, and cooks delicious food. His nephew, Eddie, is a knowledgeable guide and owns the Tereng wilis bungalows up the road that has great food at his warung. There are a lot of mosques in the area, and the muezzins start early, but we got used to them very quickly.
