Safe, comfortable and in the perfect location - just off the main busy road but out of the noise. My daughter was staying for a month to do her dive master training and we were greeted with such warmth and smiles we knew she would be safe there. She extended her stay for another month. Rooms are basic but clean with ensuite.

Wow, what a wonderful stay! I was so happy to arrive after a long and exhausting day of travel. The place is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. The room is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated with flowers, and has everything you need - WiFi, water, towel, and A/C. It instantly calmed me. Breakfast is simple and good, and the family is so kind and helpful. Incredible value for money in a lovely village. If you’re looking for a calm, local experience near Bangsal, this is the place. Jeannie and Josch's place is a peaceful, homelike haven. We stopped 1 night en route to gili air and liked it so much we went back for 3 nights after. We were in the family room which had a great upstairs for our daughter. Jeannie makes everything easy...we booked several trips and car journeys and either they drive you or organise a friend (Jahid or Ubat). Our daughter was made very welcome.... Feeding the dogs and meeting the turkeys! Delicious food too. Highly recommend!

Absolutely everything! This place is not just an accommodation, but a little safe heaven full of kindness and love. The entire staff working here is so extremely generous, kind, super friendly and so warmly welcoming. The manager even introduces you to the best spots and food in the island, should one wishes to join or learn more. I originally planned a 2-night staying but then soon extended to 10 since the experience was beyond amazing. Utterly special place!!!

Michael is a great host with heaps of advice and recommendations, the cottages are lovely with big eaves to keep you cool, lush green plantings, great food and lovely staff. Can’t fault it. Every small detail is taken into account for your comfortable stay and the place also takes great care about sustainability. We could request the cleaning only when we needed it. The staff was very helpful in organizing a laundry service for us upon request. The room has a kettle, a safe box, and tea/coffee, and a fridge. All the staff is just the best people I met during my whole trip to Indonesia. So kind, joyful, respectful. I will always remember them and keep them in my heart. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary there and they prepared the bed with a turtle towel decoration, some flowers and a very nice hand-written note for us -and a nice welcome cocktail-. The breakfast was good with fresh fruits and warm food, decent coffee and very good fruit juice. The pancakes were our favorite, btw. The bed was reallt comfortable and the pillows were great! Hot water in the shower and a spaceful room with a nice terrace. It was just amazing! They really made us feel loved and taken care of. I will come back to this place every time I am in Gili Air.

The villa was really nice and had the nicest host called Herman who welcomed us and helped us during our stay. There is also a supercozy restaurant outside where they can bring you all type of meals in to the villa! Really worth the money!
