What I like the most is the family of the owner. They were all so good, accommodating, helpful, approachable, and hospitable. Special mention to Yoga, the owner of Hapdesko Homestay, thank you so much brother. Of course our stay will never be fun, easy and exciting without our dear friend Agung, cousin of Yoga and at the same time the receptionist of Hapdesko Homestay during our stay. We just came there to have a place to stay but little did we know, after staying there for almost a month, we gained a brother. Bro Agung, thank you so much for everything! We were just strangers before but now you're already a brother to me, to us. Thank you will never be enough to express how thankful we are of you. We'll see each other again sooooon! Agung even let us try the Indonesian drink, it's like a tea with a raw egg, at first we thought it was disgusting, but hey it was so good, and Indonesian call it teatalua ( I know my spelling is incorrect)😂 anyway, you guyz should try it too. Also, he let us try the Sampaguita tea and most of the time we eat together as a family! 🤗❤️

Stayed at the guesthouse that really surprised me. It wasn’t much to look at from the outside, but inside, it was a gem. The staff were friendly, the room was cosy with a smart TV, and the bedding was comfy. For the price, I got way more than I expected, definitely worth the money considering the peak period. Was in Batam for a night transiting from Jakarta to Singapore; I wish I could stay longer. The guesthouse has no lift; might want to keep that in mind when booking. The surroundings have nothing much to offer except minimarts and a row of street food carts in the evening.

Very satistied to stay here..the host so understanding..let us leave ours bag at homestay for a while after check out. The room so big even for 6 pax..will repeat this homestay if i come to Batam again..
