The best part of the lovely traditional home in a gorgeous part of Jakarta that will surprise you, is Anita, your host. She took me to the mat let, took me eating, help me with everything and became my friend. We had good talks about how the country work and it was so interesting to discover Indonesia this way! I strongly recommend you to stay with her. Stay in the cities outsides made me be able to enjoy it without the caos! You must see this lovely place!

A really clean und well designed home stay with an extraordinary generous and friendly host! It’s located in a quiet area of Jakarta but still central though. The associated cafe offers really great coffee and tea and I loved the banana cake! The host let me leave my luggage in the hotel and offered a shower and a towel even if I had already checked out. In the cafe there were fotoshootings, which I personally found really interesting to watch and not bothering at all.

It is a calm, safe and traditional house with a lot of green and common areas, very nice people that are also artists, and a sense of community and wellbeing that made me feel comfortable and happy. The people was definitely the best part. It is very well connected to public transport, in a nice part of the city that is also very central, so I highly recommend if you want to dive in Indonesia’s hospitality.
