The place was very cosy and the rooms were comfortable ! All the staff was just amazing and very helpful ! Thank you for your kindness 🙏🏼 We made the one night jungle trek and it was just an incredible experience ! The camp was very privative and we were alone in the middle of nowhere. The tour with Jhony and Lana was great! They made sure everything was in order and made sure I felt comfortable. We spotted some orang utans and other monkeys, the food was good, and the overnight place was good as well. The accommodation at Jhony in Bukit Lawang itself is perfect as well, everything you need. Jhony makes sure you get everything that you need, and also helps you out with your further travels.

For our family, Bukit Lawang was absolutely one of the best places best have ever been. The stay at Jungle Life Guesthouse was superb. We ended up staying 2 weeks, so we got a much fuller cultural experience getting to know the owners. Alek is very friendly and enthusiastic, and Nabil was very attentive and helpful. They were great organizers of our 2-day jungle trek. (Which can be physically challenging, but if our nearly 60 year old mom can do it, so can you!) They were hosts who went out of their way for us on multiple occasions. We loved our experience at jungle life guest house and hope to be back.

Best place in Sumatra. In the middle of the jungle, very cosy place to stay for enjoy the nature. There is river where you can swim, the food was very good and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and kindly. We did the 3 day 2 night trekking into the jungle with two amazing guide and we definitely recommend this experience. They know a lot about the jungle and they take care of you during all the trip. Thank you very much for making our stay an amazing moment.

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

Amazing holiday in a beautiful place on the river bank in Bukit Lawang. The hospitable owner helped to bring the luggage to the room and organized an amazing two-day trek into the jungle to see orangutans. The room is clean with a wonderful veranda overlooking the river. I recommend this guesthouse to anyone who wants to visit Bukit Lawang

This place has a wonderful view of the rice fields. It is very quite and a few km away from the main area so on the streets to reach the hotel you get to see how local people really live. The staff is very friendly and pro active they organized the trekking (we got to see two huge orangutan!!!) for us and all the transfers we needed. They speak English very well and they bring you with the bike wherever you want. The bungalow is lovely and clean. I would return for sure. Don’t miss it!
