The place is so relaxing. The room is very clean and smells good. The food we ordered are all delicious and worth the price. The owner and staffs are very helpful and accomodating especially in arranging the way to Bromo and going to our next destination. Overall, it's highly recommended for both single and group travelers. Thumbs up!

property is basic, as it says on the description. However I didn’t expect anything else - it’s on the edge of a volcano and that’s amazing!!! owner/manager is very happy and helpful. We arrived late at night so no where to get food but he went and fetched us a hot water thermos for our noodles and helped show me the way to the view point.

A small guest house with everything you need for a getaway in the Bromo region. The rooms are simple but clean, with hot water in the bathroom to counter the damp cold of the region. The staff are very responsive by message and go out of their way to help you organise your activities. As for dinner, it's delicious and perfect for building up your strength before the night hike. Great location! Thanks to our amazing host, we were able to walk up to Bromo and Mt. Batok just as we wanted, avoiding the crowds and groups. Davi was wonderful—he gave us the best tips to explore the area, and we enjoyed unforgettable hikes with stunning sunset and sunrise views. The room was comfortable, with a hot shower—everything we needed. We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a more authentic experience. For meals, we had lunch and dinner on a beautiful terrace just a few minutes’ walk from the homestay.

Friendly staff, Angri gave good explanations on how to get to Bromo, which options with motorbikes/jeep, cost. Nice surroundings with houses, gardens, cafe 3min, good restaurant 3min down the road. The homestay itself has a small resto, even if some things are not freshly made, but it is very useful when arriving late or for breakfast. we liked the banana pancakes. Beds were comfortable, one could relax in the sun or shade in front of the house.

In this price range we were happy with this homestay :) Room was big, clean. Very comfortable couches in the hall, hot shower with enough space to hang your clothes etc. Everything was clean enough. Good location.

Simple and efficient homestay to spend one night in Cemoro Lawang before hiking Bromo. The bed was warm, the bathroom was not the most comfortable but enough for one night. The place was clean to me, its not the prettiest but you don't need that if you just come for Bromo

Cahyo homestay is well located inside Bromo village that must pay an entrance fee of 250K pp (25 AUD pp), 50K (5 AUD) for vehicles entrance. The property is between the Bromo crater and the King Kong hills. It’s a perfect spot for ppl who want to hike. The room itself is a decent size and in a clean condition given how remote and suburban the area is. Cahyo is a lovely host that has given us good guidelines on how to go about hiking Bomo in the early morning, and had offered hot water for coffee and tea. Would recommend him for hikers.

The host family was very friendly and helpful. They organized the Bromo Tour for me and everything was perfect. Furthermore the meals in the restaurant of their Homestay are very delicious. I would definitely would come back.
