Well worth the street noise for being so close to all the facilities (bus station and two big supermarkets within a ten minute stroll), great value. Only just misses out on lookiing over the old harbour by a few metres. The little restaurants in the old town, and ones not on the harbour, tended to be better value for food (look out for happy hour drink offers, there are a couple on the harbour), and all within a 5 minute walk. It's not 5 star, and is priced accordingly, but is spotlessly clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Even a little balcony.

What did I like? Everything! The location? Just in the middle of Chania old town, a minute away from the Venetian port. The building? An impressive Venetian house from 13th Century impressively maintained. The facilities? All you need to spend a really nice days. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. The host? Thomais is the perfect host. She runs Madonna Studios with all her heart. Her devotion to make the guests to be like at home is the best value. She prepares delicious homemade breakfast with pie and juice. What a nice surprise. We really didn't expect to have such a great stay at Madonna Studios. Crete is a fabulous island, with a lot of places to visit. We will be back for sure, and what's really sure, is that it will be at Madonna Studios. You are looking where to stay in Chania? This is your place! Thanks for everything, Thomais! We loved our stay!

Brilliant from start to finish, the location is amazing just beside the old Venetian port we arrived before check-in but the staff accommodated us and it was ready. Beautiful spacious room such nice little touches, the bed was so comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, strong AC and added touches including a kettle microwave etc. the balcony was such an fab place to sit out on people watch. Thank you for looking after us Nutassa we will be back again!
