We were taken really good care of, we arrived late because of car trouble and the hosts welcomed us and helped us with getting some food and drinks and transport to our ferry to Islay the next day. Amazing home cooked breakfast also.

The breakfast was a marvel. As guests we had perhaps 8 different menu options to choose from, concluding with a vary ample breakfast, which was my choice. Perfect.. The personality and charachter of our hosts was so open and gracious that I would be happy to call them friends. Nothing artificial about them. The property was well conceived, designed and maintained. Great location. What's not to praise.

We liked everything: great hosts, tastefully decorated interior, everything is well maintained, fireplace, more than fully equipped kitchen, big garden/grass on both sides of the apartment, 5 min drive to the lovely town of Tarbert (shops, restaurants). We enjoyed walk around the neighboring peninsula and the panoramic blue trail starting from the Tarbert castle.
