It well exceeded our expectations. The room was large. There were books to read, tea kettle and a good bathroom. It was on main street, across the street from a grocery store, restaurants and shops. The beds were big. It was above a nice restaurant, with an included breakfast. We traveled with bicycles and we were allowed to bring them inside. This place was amazing and I will recommend it to anyone going to that area.

I wrote in the guest book, perfect 10/10. Located really centrally. Good size room, good in room facilities. Fabulous cooked breakfast, generous on fruit juice and good coffee. Richard who runs it is a terrific, helpful and unfussy guy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Acorn House Callander. The room was spacious and bright and beautifully designed with attention to details - hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener provided (decaff version as well). The beds and the pillows were very comfortable. The hosts were very nice and accommodating and even invited us to have some carrot cake before we checked out. The bathroom was big, super clean and modern with hot water and clean towels. We felt like home 😊. Totally recommend it.
