Absolutely excellent stay. I would even go so far as to say it was the best B&B/host experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t know hosts could make such a big difference to your stay, but I suppose I just hadn’t experienced a great one until now. From the start, Karl was extremely welcoming. He had excellent recommendations in the area and nearby the town, also great chat. The attention to detail in the room amenities was above and beyond. It was actually at hotel level and not what I expected from an intimate B&B: a great selection of tea, coffee, and small snacks; a little pamphlet about everything you can do in Dorchester; a very nice menu for breakfast; loved the art and interior design. The breakfast itself was absolutely delicious, made by the other co-host, Jocelyn, literally restaurant level! I can honestly say the trip was ten times better than it would have been because of the hosts and the place.

Everything! The setting was storybook. The room was lovely. The food and caring service were just wonderful. We were treated kindly and graciously. The “icing on the cake” was the thatched roof. The storybook ending was perfect! I can’t say enough positives!
