Excellent host! Service is like a hotel but with a much more personal experience. Clean. Quiet (do not be concerned about closeness to airport). Lovely location, where small town meets countryside. 30 min by bus to downtown Edinburgh (bus app works well). Also, if you have a car, Sabannga Thai restaurant 3 miles away comes highly recommended.

The stay was a really lovely one! Would certainly recommend to everyone out there. The hosts were really friendly (and chatty, looking at you James! The host, Lydie, is a delightful, warm, and welcoming person who made me feel right at home in her lovely place. My room was perfect, with a very comfortable bed, and a view over the city. I ordered breakfast, which came with excellent coffee, croissants, jam, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese and biscuits; a substantial morning repast delivered to my room. Lydie had suggestions for restaurants, getting around Edinburgh, etc. All great! Highly recommend and will return when next in Edinburgh!
