The Shaftesbury was a quaint little hotel in a charming residential neighbourhood with ample street parking. It is just a short drive to the city centre. The rooms are clean with super comfortable beds. The staff are all fantastic and courteous The breakfast was excellent with cooked eggs, meats, fruit, yoghurt and juices. Had an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Normally there was no breakfast, but the owner helped very well to offer us a breakfast. Good wifi connection. The host Stuart was very helpful in making us comfortable. We had good appointments and he gave good advise about where to eat and where to go. I would really go here again. A good place for a good price.

Smells refreshing. It was clean. Room is spacious enough. The ambiance was like visiting a relative. I didnt expect there’ll be noodles provided, but that was really helpful.

This accomdation is so beautifully presented, with gorgeous decor and cosy rooms to relax in during our stay. The room we stayed in was so very comfortable and the included breakfast was perfect 👌 And being able to enjoying breakfast in the morning with such a gorgeous view of the gardens is something special. I highly recommend exploring afterwards as a great way to start your day. What made this stay additionally special was that our host Graham took the time to provide us recommendations of places to also visit along our travel route, a true host that goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend staying here as a base to venture around the area. Thank you Graham and everyone involved in ensuring we had such a fabulous stay.
