Wea arrived quite tired after a wet drive from Manchester. We were greeted by Cliff who carried our bags to our room. And showed us around. Wow the inside was palatial as was our room. The breakfasts were brilliantly cooked and lots of food by Christina. We could not ask for more.

Shaun and Kate are perfect hosts. We felt at home right from the start. The house is tastefully decorated with a sense for the details and the room was large, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom had a window and a bathtub with a modern shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Although we didn't use it, there is also a nice hot tub in the large garden. There are numerous bird feeders all around the premises and it was joyful to watch the birds during our meals and from our room. We enjoyed the three course dinner as well as the breakfast freshly made with lots of love. We had interesting conversations with our kind hosts and would love to come back in the future. The location is perfect for visiting nearby attractions.

A thoroughly relaxing place to stay ! Warm , comfy and in a quiet location but still within easy walking distance of the town and seafront . Some nice touches inside . I loved the door that opens half way across like a stable . Well thought out decor , the dragonfly curtains and highland cattle pattern on the beds create a homely feel . The fruit teas were very welcome too . I live on a main road so the quiet area was most welcome , all I heard at night was a distant owl , which is a comforting sound .Helensburgh with it's many landmarks , wonderful views and laid back folk is an absolute joy . Brilliant ! 😊

This was such an amazing find! The owner is very friendly and gave us some great tips for our stay. We ordered breakfast and it was very good! The building itself is beautiful and the room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Probably the best bed we had on our two week trip. The owner said that we could also use the fridge, although we didn't need to, but it could be useful for somebody else. There are plenty parking spots right across the street, next to a public park. Location is amazing, with several restaurants, shops, and good pubs right outside (it is still quiet, don't worry!). Loch Lomond and the castle park are also a minute away. I wish I could stay there for longer.
