Very spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay in Cardiff. Hosts Lisa and Gary are very friendly, thoughtful and kind. Driving to the centre of Cardiff is about 20 min. Car parking is convenient and safe. A really recommendable place. We would give a score of 10+.

I only stayed one night at the Elgano guesthouse and despite arriving unannounced early in the morning was welcomed very warmly by the staff, who offered me to check in earlier (which I declined since I had an appointment). They were also kind enough to keep my luggage until I came to check-in later that day. The room itself was beautiful, very clean, with a spacious bathroom and enough space to store my belongings. The guesthouse does not have an elevator which makes it less suitable for people with impaired mobility. To everyone else I would highly recommend a stay!
