We liked the warm welcome from the owner Jan. She was amazing and friendly and there were nice touches added like her home baked shortbread cookies in the room. The breakfast was amazing the options were endless. The room we stayed in was great very comfortable and great views of the beach. Location was great for the recommended restaurants for dinner. We would definitely recommend Beaches.

Very nice clean, outside front courtyard was decorated very well and even though on a main street it was very welcoming, probably one of the nicer places we stayed while in Scotland

The perfect place to stay! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we rang the bell, by both Liz and Douglas. We arrived to find a gift from a previous guest left on the doorstep, which I took as a very good sign! The house is immaculate, it’s cosy and quiet, it even smells wonderful. We were given an option of 2 rooms and Douglas got us set up in the one we picked, even bringing our luggage up. The rooms are well set up with lovely beds, good internet, a nice tv and a great shower. And all the pillows you could ever need. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a pretty wide selection of choices. The house is right next door to a fab restaurant, and it’s not a far walk to other good food options and the rest of town. A ten minute walk finds you at the beach.
