Can’t say enough about this place- good things only. What a find- the photos do not do justice to the place. Four of us- adults. In a large room with 2 bed rooms and 2 washrooms. The only (and the only ) shortcoming of the place is that the WC is separate from both the bedrooms and doesn’t have a wash basin in it. We had a veritable apartment- 2 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and a small kitchen area. Excellent decor throughout and small thoughtful touches all over the apartment. Beds were comfortable, large TV (that we didn’t switch on), large dining table (good to work on if needed), and rain shower heads in bathrooms. Excellent breakfast delivered promptly to the room by the lovely Maddy. She is a gem and great to deal with. Ahmed one of the co-owners was a charm and delight. His enthusiasm was infectious. Location- within 2 minutes to a pharmacy, a supermarket, a book store etc. within 9 minutes to Rue Notre Dame area. We bought a tote bag and a candle- they looked delectable. The whole family loved it. Would I stay here again: YES.

What a gem! We decided to travel to Bordeaux on a whim and were lucky to get a room at Maison Fernand. The location is perfect, and the room lovely. What made our stay extra wonderful was our host Ahmed and his team, it was like we were staying with a really good and attentive friend! I hope to travel to Bordeaux again some day, and if I do I will be booking a room at the Maison Fernand!

Doesn’t matter how much I write, it won’t be enough to describe how amazing this accommodation is. Just come and see for yourself! Considering the reviews, expected a great breakfast, but it was just perfect! I liked everything about it and the presentation is “wow”! Upon arrival there were also complimentary drinks in the fridge. And the details like scented oils on the shelve or little candies on the tables became a chef's kiss, loved it! Communication with accommodation was also great and conscise. Thanks owners a lot for all the effort to make our stay as wonderful as possible ❤️ Enjoyed it a lot and cannot recommend enough!

Madame Claude was a lovely host. She communicated through a translation app which was good as we didn't know much french. The accommodation was really authentic. And the transport link to Bordeaux number 4 bus was just at the bottom of the road.
