We stayed in the superior suite with balconies overlooking the cathedral square. The location is unbelievable. The room is huge, the bed is huge and the bathroom is very smart. This room would be the best room in any luxury hotel at twice the price. The old building has been well modernised, the sound of locals tourists and pilgrims below did not disturb with the windows closed. There are 2 a/c’s and large radiators so it should be comfortable under any conditions.

Great wee hotel in a very central part of the city. 2 minutes from the cathedral and right in the best area for bars and restaurants! Room had everything I needed, very comfy bed, great shower. Small fridge in the room as well! The man at reception was very welcoming and helpful. Offered me either a quiet room or one looking out towards the street (I took quiet!).

We were moved to the Albany Hostal which was in an incredible location. Stepping outside the door you had the Cathedral right there in all its glory. The cafes and bars scattered through the laneways and the real vibe of León all around. Loved it!
