Set in the Pyrenee mountains near the French border, this hotel and restaurant is off the beaten track, yet known to many locals. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom spotless and modern. There is ample free parking and beautiful views of the mountains. We booked half board and were very satisfied. The restaurant was full of locals, the food was delicious and plentiful and beverages were included. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. There were several opportunities for easy hiking in the area, as well as more advanced trails for jogging, but unfortunately we did not have the time this trip. We will return next year and plan for a longer stay.

The place has an excellent location and we are very grateful for our stay here. Everything was up to par - two separate beds, daily cleaning, clean towels and a quiet place to rest. The girl at the reception was very nice and we got a lot of support and guidance for our travels in the area. Thank you!

If you are looking for a small, cozy hostel with a lot of Spanish personality, and a lot of local guests at the bar and the restaurant all day - it's a perfect choice - in - maybe the most beautiful Bordertown in Europe. Portbou is unique. Very small, old, Spanish town - with af small beach - and - surrounded - by the Pyrenees. No matter is you want to go north - towards France - or south - towards Spain - it's uphill the Pyrenees. Hostal Juventus is value for money.

I slept really well here, the bed and linens were comfortable, it was very clean, and remodeled. The owner was kind and helpful and the location was easy to walk everywhere. Many channels on the tv too.
