From the moment I stepped inside the hostel I felt welcomed and like home. Ibrahim who is one of the managers was very friendly and treated me and the other guests with utmost respect and warmth. The hostel has a very beautiful rooftop where you can watch the sunset/sunrise and/or just hang out. I did a tour around Siwa with the help of Ibrahim who organised a driver for me. His name is Moazzam, he is very professional at what he is doing and was always making sure I am fine. I also got to sleep a night in the desert thanks to them! It was a really beautiful and unforgettable experience. Location of the hostel could not be better, it is near to everything and so calm and peaceful inside. If you are a person who values authentic experiences and like to be surrounded by history, friendly people and peaceful environment, choose this place!

Everything about this hotel was very good. starting from friendly staff; Samer & Mohammed to the specious rooms and nice chill area on the rooftop overlooking local area. I think that Sleep in Siwa is a wonderful experience and a short walking distance from the downtown. Rooms and bathrooms were specious with great shower. The hotel offers free bottled water/teas and coffees in the breakfast area. It is also a great value for money! Breakfast is very basic with some omelette, bread, banana and cheese...

By far the best, cleanest, and with the best Wi-Fi signal accommodation we’ve had in Egypt. Everything was excellent. Bianca and Omar took care of us as if we were part of their family. The rooms were impeccably clean, which is extremely rare in Egypt. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, and I want to thank them here for their hospitality, respect, and everything they did for us during our stay.

The host is a kind hearted retired captain who is super welcoming, and makes an amazing breakfast! The garden around the house is beautiful with huge palm trees and different fruit trees. The house itself is tidy, clean and makes you want to explore everything in and around the house. You can walk to the city center in a few minutes.

Great owner. The location of the guesthouse is a quiet place, where you can enjoy his guitar and hot springs in silence. It's a special experience. Breakfast was also good. We also went on tour with him. It's affordable. He took me to places that only locals know about, and I had a great time.

Our stay at the newly renovated old Shali house turned into homestay was a wonderful experience, made very special due to our host Ahmed Maradona. He is very knowledgeable about Siwa, took us on great trips to a private salt lake and around the oasis. Rooms are spacious and decorated with great care for local traditions, each has its own bathroom and common area is very cozy to relax. If you need anything, Maradona will get it to you in a second. Free and working WiFi in all areas is a big plus. The place is very peaceful, but just a short walk takes you to the center of the lively town. You can climb to Shali fortress from just behind the house and we had a view to its top from our bathroom.
