The accommodation is in a very quiet and pleasant area, but still close to everything. It’s easy to reach, and the ocean is just a short walk away. The room was very clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Well designed, bright, spacious rooms, with both a purified water dispenser and coffee machine. Lovey individual sitting area/deck with comfortable furniture outside each room. Restaurant was excellent. Especially liked the deck overlooking the sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We loved it here so much we extended our stay from 3 to 8 nights. There is a lovely atmosphere here and the hosts were very welcoming. I had injured my foot when I arrived. Kim gave me some cream for it and helped me to get an xray for it. The proximity to the national park is awesome. We went most days and then spent the late afternoons relaxing in the pool. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. There are various comfortable seating options in the common area indoors and outdoors. The bedrooms are spacious and there is shelving and hanging space for clothes. The AC worked perfectly and hot shower was a luxury we haven't had for many weeks. Kim is very knowledgeable about activities in the area as well as where is best to spot wildlife in cahuita and in the national park. Our stay here made us fall in love with Cahuita and it was definitely a highlight of our Costa Rica trip.

We had a fantastic time with Elisa and her mother. They are very warmheated people and ensure that you have a pleasent stay. Our Apartment was clean and comfortable. Elisa is a fotographer and we booked a fotoshooting with her on the beach. She did a really great job. We can only recomment her! The pictures are beautiful and perfect for our honeymoon in Costa Rica. Thank you!

Very organic, relaxing vibes, great and helpful owner 😊 you can get easily by local buses to Cahuita, Porto viejo, Manzanillo etc. or visit cacao museum on the other side of the road. We really love the whole location.

We loved staying in Smile Jungle Hostel, from the first minute to the last. Gonzalo is an amazing host and this was our favourite accommodation in Central America. We had an amazing stay at the Jungle Beach Bungalow with my brother. As said in many comments, the pictures do not do the place justice. The host, Andrew, is a chef so the house has a lot of kitchen ustensiles to cook elaborate meals, the two rooms are spacious and very confortable, the bathroom has hot water, and is super modern. It's really a stupendous little house where you will have a wonderful time if you go there. Also, Andrew is very helpful and caring and super reactive. He makes his possible to make your stay the best possible !

Nice and clean stay in the middle of the jungle. You’ll be sharing the house with host Alexandra – incredibly welcoming – cuddle-cat Michael, and possibly another guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with a wide range of utensils, and the bedrooms have fans. One of the highlights is the bathroom, which is surrounded by glass, offering views of the lush greenery (with complete privacy, of course). The house is about a 15–20 minute bike ride from Puerto Viejo – walking isn’t really an option, but a tuk-tuk (around 4000 CRC) is! Drinking water is available. Board games (including Rummikub) are available too.
