The pension is a big haus at the border of Bad Ischl next to the cable car. This is a very quiet area, we were able to sleep with fully opened window for 8 nights, and nobody disturbed us with any noise during the nights. This point is ideal for nature lovers to start hiking or biking from here. The city center can be reached on a walking path in 30 minutes by foot. The pension has plenty parking spaces and in case you cannot find a free one, you can park your car on the area of the cable car (which is only 5 meters away) with a card given by the host to you. The room and bathroom were nicely renovated, their size were big with a lot of storage place. The bed was really comfortable. The rooms does not have a private fridge, but there exists a common one on the first floor what can be used. The breakfast is plentiful, you can find sweet and salty things as well, and everything including the bakery products were always fresh. The host and the staff were very kind and responsive.

The hospitality and helpfulness of Nicky and Mark was extraordinary throughout our entire stay of 6 nights. They were helping us a lot to make the most of our stay in this area, that is stunning! We couldn't have wished for better hosts and if we would return in this area any time in the future we would choose this lovely B&B again and again. The included breakfast was nice and filling and the genuine helpfulness and kindness of our hosts truly outstanding! I don’t even have the words to describe how amazing this place is! Everything in the house is so well thought out, with all the amenities you could need—tea, two types of coffee machines, a dishwasher, toasters, a grill, and more. The house is very warm and cozy. The host is extremely friendly. The panoramic windows offer stunning mountain views, and there’s a lake nearby where you can go hiking or for a walk.
