Guesthouse Rama was a wonderful experience!!! The host family were very friendly and hospitable. It’s in a great location in Valbonë as it’s walking distance to a swimming spot by the lake and to the start of the Valbonë - Theth trail. We also had a lovely breakfast!

Marcel and his family were absolutely wonderful. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Albania. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They were incredibly helpful, especially guiding me through the logistics for the Valbonë to Theth hike, which I had planned for the next morning. And the view from the terrace? Unbelievable! Surrounded by stunning mountains, it was incredibly serene. I genuinely regret not booking a longer stay. I’ll absolutely be coming back – next time for more than just one night. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality

- very good organic food, delicious breakfast (milk, honey, yogurt, vegetables, eggs from their own garden), also ordered delicious traditional dishes for lunch - beautiful surroundings in nature (close to the mountains and the river) - very calm and peaceful place - new rooms (very clean, bright, good smell from the wooden floors, big windows) - comfortable beds with new mattresses - nice new bathroom - good wifi connection - helpful and friendly hosts (very easy communication via WhatsApp as well)

The owner is really friendly, we had nice time with him. He told us many interstings information about live in Albania. The view was nice, the breakfast was great, and he made more omelets for us.

Super helpful, friendly and trustfull staff. Wonderfully family running the guesthouse. Prime location and prices. The included breakfast and the paid dinners exceeded what you paid for. Homemade food, and lunch (4€) that was excellent. Would stay here again in the future. The bathroom was modern like at a brand new hotel.

Amazing people. I have booking in last minute and they do everything is possible to make it easier for me We feel very good in this guesthouse, very clean and authentic. They prepare me a dinner it’s like a feast, this give me all the energy i need to go in theth the next day Moreover they prepare me two delicious sandwich for lunch. The place is exceptional you can also go swin at the river next to the guest house

The host was so sweet, relaxed and nice towards his guests. So it was a great start after the hike we did. We could settle in straight away and enjoy the lovely view of the surroundings. For diner he rode everyone towards a lovely restaurant which had a menu with a lot of options.

The guesthouse is not only set in an idealic setting at the base of the mountain with spectacular scenery, but it is moments from the trail. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, and as farm to table as you can get, down to the honey and cheese, made by the owner. I was in a room with three single beds. My room shared a modern, clean washroom with another bedroom upstairs. Staying at this guesthouse, meeting the owners and enjoying the meals has been a highlight of my trip to Albania. I wish I had stayed longer!

This was like having a lovely home stay experience. Our room was basic but adequate, and was good value for money. There was easy access to a comfortable balcony with a magnificent view. The food was plentiful and home grown and cooked by our very lovely hosts.They were helpful in finding transport to the Valbone trail head. It was overall a great experience .

Lovely host family that was really welcoming. Great location as it is a short walk from the town centre. Delicious dinner provided by the host for an extra 9 euros and they also provide packed lunch for a small fee if you are doing the hike to Theth the next day.
