Situated 25 minutes’ drive from London Stansted Airport, the Holiday Inn Express Harlow is enclosed by various shopping and leisure facilities. Harlow Town rail station is a 20-minute walk away and offers regular services to London Liverpool Street station and Cambridge. There is also an adjacent bus station. We arrived after a very long journey too early for our room. Sienna on reception was exceptional and helped find us a room earlier so we could rest. She was so helpful and friendly. She also helped us sort out parking which is tricky in Harlow at the moment because of the extensions going on with the building.

Each en suite room at Holiday Inn Express Stansted features tea/coffee facilities, a work desk and a flat-screen TV. Check-in was very quick and easy, and the staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and quite spacious. Special mention to Robel, who did everything possible to make sure I reached my flight — great customer service!

Close to junction 26 of the A12, the Holiday Inn Colchester has a convenient location, only 5 km from the very heart of Colchester, the oldest recorded town in Britain. London Stansted Airport is only a 40-minute drive away. We stayed here to attend my nieces wedding a few miles away, there was plenty of parking at the venue and if you drive electric, there are charging points available. Check in was slick and professional, the young man on reception was very pleasant and professional. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed, the bedding was very comfortable and there were ample electrical points available, WIFI is available but we didn't make use of it as we had ample data on our phones. Breakfast is the best I've seen in a long time at the many hotels I've stayed at over recent years, the best full English anywhere so far, there was also an excellent selection of cereals fruits, cheeses, jams and hot drinks as well as juices. In a nutshell, based on my experience you wont go wrong if you stay here. less than a minute from the A12 just outside Colchester.
