Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. We had no idea what to expect from a "pirate hotel", but it was above any expectation! Besides that, it was a wonderfull room, with big balcony, big big bed and all very clean and "piratty". It is a quiet, cosy campsite. We spent 8 nights there in the sleeping barrel and really enjoyed our stay. The camp equipment was clean, always available, and with no complications. The barrel was large enough for 2 people. The red and black currant just beside the barrel was a nice addition to our great experience. The staff was welcoming and nothing was a problem.
