The day we stayed there was a big celebration for the Indonesian Independence Day (Aug 17th) next door, which added some nice extra experience with fire dancing and fireworks.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Chill Out Bungalows is a recently renovated holiday park situated in Gili Air, a few steps from Gili Air Beach. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. This stay was probably the highlight of our trip. It has the best view, most courteous staff and has really good food options available, especially if you are a vegetarian. Location wise it's right next to the beach which is again an advantage.

With pool views, Unzipp Bungalows Gili Air is set in Gili Air and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor pool. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Had an amazing stay at Unzipp. Dedi, the person running the show is a great host! It's right by the beach so you've got an easy snorkeling access at all times. Food here is a highlight as well. Highly recommended!

Located in Gili Air, 5 km from Gili Trawangan, Dolcemare Resort features a 27-metre long natural style swimming pool, a separate kids pool and 2 waterfalls. It has a common area and a big garden with a private area for kids. Free WiFi connection is available throughout. This villa is located very close (seconds walk) to the best beachbar with sunbeds and shisha on the Gili Air. Its the rare place on Gili islands where you can swim comfortably without special shoes!! The beach looks amazing during the high tide. Usually high tide is from 8am to 1pm, after that you can go relax in the pool which is also nice. Also, Dolcemare Resort is the only place where we have found decaf coffee on Bali. The breakfast was also quite good. If I come back to Jili Air I would not consider other options where to stay due to its convenient location.

We also loved the nightly bedtime stories and the free bicycles make exploring the island easy. Plus, it’s just a quick walk from the island’s best pizza at Mama’s Pizza—the best pizza we've had outside of Italy.

Little Piece of Paradise truly lives up to its name. The staff is incredibly kind and caring, making you feel right at home. The breakfast is amazing, served on a charming little balcony overlooking the garden. The central area is beautifully designed, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

All units at the holiday park are fitted with a seating area. The holiday park features some units that have mountain views, and every unit comes with a private bathroom and a desk. At the holiday park, every unit includes bed linen and towels. Absolutely loved our stay here, we could not of been happier. Extended our stay within hours of being there. The room, pool and grounds are immaculately clean and very well maintained. Amazing room, very comfy bed - lovely homely touches. Towels provided, including beach towels too. Fresh water provided in a dispenser that can be refilled on request. We loved the comfort of our terrace, great to spend time chilling out. Daily breakfast in the on-site restaurant was wonderful, best omelettes we’ve had on our many weeks of travelling Indonesia. We also loved our evening meal there too. Perfect location, close to beach, bars/restaurants and easy walk from harbour. The owner Sylvie and her amazing team make you feel so very welcome from the start, always on hand if you need them, attentive, friendly and professional. Cannot recommend more highly.
