The view was just stunning and the villas are perfectly positioned for sunrise which I managed to wake up early enough to catch and was well worth it. The staff were incredible, super helpful, helped me book and tailor activities to my preference. On the last day, there was a bit of a stress with my driver for the airport being very late - they more than made up for this by taking care of checking me in for my flight, having a staff member wait for me at the airport and even upgraded my seat. Prefect stay and I will return for much longer!

The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

The bungalows are charming both in style and function, with good AC and hot water. Well-rounded, tasty and healthy farm breakfast to fresh grilled fish dinners in an environment that reminds me of being in a tropical farmland adjacent to wilderness open oceans alive with abundance. To top it all off, the friendly and family-style hospitality is 2nd to none. with the owner providing genuine empathy, local authenticity, and an understanding of tourism and transportation logistics in these remote lands.
