Tetebatu is the kind of place where you get a real taste of real people in a beautiful community that does not have a lot, but is wealthy in family, community, hard work, determination, kindness and hospitality. Our hosts went beyond to support our stay and help us navigate the place, the activities and made things so much easier. The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.

It was a beautiful bungalow; clean, spacious, comfortable, and the view from it was stunning. Lovely staff, very helpful and kind. The location was super nice, secluded and peaceful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy beautiful views and calm surroundings!

We had an amazing stay at Sunset Bungalow. The place is new, really pretty and clean. Suhardi & Hartini were such a genuinely kind and welcoming couple. They take us on a slightly off the beaten path tour around the rice fields and the forest (I usually don’t use guides, but I really recommend going with them), showed us how to make coconut oil, invited us for tea many times and gifted us so many nice things. 100000% recommend staying at theirs.

It was fantastic here! We loved our house tucked away from the road. Beautiful plants all around the house and stunning views of the jungle. It was so beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped. Deni is so nice, always smiling, always available and he gave us the best tour of Tetebatu. Definitely do the tour with him. We felt very welcome and at home. We will always come back to enjoy this wonderful place. Restaurants and the waterfall are very close by. Deni helps you out with a scooter. We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. I had a wonderful stay at Bamboo Craft Homestay! Raja is a very welcoming host who truly enjoys sharing his knowledge of the area — he took me to visit some beautiful local spots and traditional craft workshops. We also cooked a traditional meal together, which was a really nice experience. The accommodation is charming and comfortable, nestled among rice fields and native plants, offering a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. I also highly recommend stopping by to try the food — it’s delicious!

If you are looking to visit waterfalls in the area this is your place! There’s nothing better than immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the mountains, a lush forest and the soothing sound of the water running down the river below. Pondok Rio is a real experience. You’ll feel like in a fairytale. Beautiful little wooden cottages, with a lot of attention to details. Surrounded by ponds with koi fishes and lotus flowers. A beautiful garden with tropical plans and flowers surrounds the property. Your own kitchen, if you wish, and a beautiful lounge area with internet, big tv screen and sound system. Tegu, the owner, is really kind and friendly, even though he doesn’t speak English. His friend came along to make sure we could communicate. They have breakfast included. Tegu’s friend will show up in the morning with a really tasty nasi goreng and bananas for a mid morning snack. We were set to go chase waterfalls! Thank you Tegu, we’ll be back!

Stunning location, amazing staff and very good breakfast. One of our favorite stays in Lombok. Located just step from the rice fields. Rooms are clean and very cozy. Would recommend 10/10. Staff there also took us to local food market and we even got to spend some time with locals who were trying to learn english. Hope we will be able to come back one day! :) Good people
