We had such a lovely time on the farm! Sanelle gave us warm welcome and the accommodation itself is wonderful. We walked among the zebras and the giraffes, enjoyed the views and natures sounds and immediately regretted that we only booked one night.

Ryan and Danny were awesome and very knowledgable hosts and the cooking staff were very talented and friendly. The hiking was unparalleled and the view from our rondavel was breath-taking. We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

Our little cottage was immaculately clean. Everything about the place from the outdoors to the interior was amazing. Great for an escape from a busy lifestyle. Our host, Jennifer was very welcoming and attended to all our questions. My husband and I also enjoyed visiting Chocolate Heaven which is around 10 minutes away from the property.

The location is brilliant, great views of the mountains, convenient for trips and close enough to shops. Accommodation was spotless and had everything you need for your stay and daily clean just helped to stay relaxed. Pool was clean and warm. The staff is very helpful and helped us with short trips. I can recommend the birds of prey show or walk to the waterfalls from Drakensburg Sun. And the bakery nearby has some mean desserts 🎂 We will definitely come again!

Malachite Manor is a 4-star accommodation venue situated just outside Underberg in KZN. Absolutely beautiful property. Wonderful staff. The dinner and breakfast were delicious

Berghouse and Cottages is situated in a rural setting, high up in the Northern Drakensberg Hills, 30 km from Bergville. Free WiFi is available in each cottage. This property has definitely the WOW factor in every single thing. The views are breathtaking, from the pool is over 180 degrees of uninterrupted amazing views. We very much enjoyed the pool! The breakfast was of excellent quality and variety. We also did the Braai dinner and it was also excellent. All food was delicious! We had an amazing time at Berghouse and Cottages and recommend the property to anyone traveling through the area!!

The place was unreal. So beautiful with the river rushing through trees. The bed was completely luxurious and the attention to detail outstanding. The biscuits given with tea were home made, as were the scented shower bombs - just amazing. I asked for a takeaway breakfast which Tanya happily provided which was delicious. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa. Would 100% go back.

It’s the perfect gateway spot for family or a group of friends. We had a great time over there. The caretaker, Mavis, made us feel so welcome.
