The view is spectacular. You could spend hours just sitting on the various lookout points from the house either having a meal or reading a book and taking in the beautiful scenery in Harties. The location is great too. Several cafes, day spas and the dam itself is in walking distance and it felt safe enough to walk around during the day. We even walked to the cable car experience (about 20-25 min walk). Veronica and Louis were superb hosts. So courteous and caring for all of our needs by providing delicious breakfast, local tips, plenty of amenities (coffee, tea, water, snacks, fan, mosquito repellant) and even some amazing conversations! They really went above and beyond to look after us which is not something you find with a lot of hosts.
