The hotel even provided snacks and a reusable water bottle to use in order to reduce waste which I was a fan of. All of the amenities were very clean and nice to use. Bed is very comfortable and the room is very quiet.

Once you find the sign though: it is somewhat small and easy to overlook among the many other places even in this building. But once inside, the friendly atmosphere of a small, well-run and above all welcoming hotel greets you. We stayed six nights and will return for another three at the end of our month in Taiwan. Journey Town Inn is small (some 10 rooms or so), the rooms are individually decorated and the common area has a great coffee machine for guests’ use 24/7. Late check-in (after 6pm) looked daunting, but the instructions we received were so descriptive that it was a breeze. Oh, a last thing: if you cannot find the energy to go far for dinner, there are two hot-pot restaurants in the building. We ate at the one on the third floor and it was very, very good!

Location is so central and perfect for 5 days in Taipei. Staff are incredible and considerate. The free breakfast is a bonus. Beds were comfortable.
