The room is small and compact but everything else was great.

The property is non-smoking and is set 700 metres from Taichung Railway Station. The room at this hotel is very spacious and kept clean. The bed is also quite comfortable, allowing for a good rest. The breakfast offers a decent variety, and the fresh fruit and bread are especially delicious. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcomed.

Certain units in the guest house have private entrance and are equipped with desk and wardrobe. Some accommodation includes a balcony and a seating area with flat-screen TV, as well as air conditioning and heating. At the guest house, some units are allergy-free and soundproof. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough. I was staying for a single night and they walked through everything for me in detail including the laundry on site. And it’s worth mentioning I had an emergency with my phone not working. They went above and beyond and drove me to the nearest open phone repair store.

It is no frills but offers a decent bed, private bathroon, good wifi, and even the ability to do laundry (they provide detergent but I think you have to hang dry, which I did not have time for but I think it pretty typical for Taiwan) Taichung Central Park is nearby and EXCELLENT if you are a runner.

All units in the inn are fitted with a kettle. The rooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, and some units at Green Hotel - Midori have a city view. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Clean, spacious, comfy. Free coffee and snacks. Aircon was cool and good functioning.

Location was also good, close to the railway station and other places I wanted to visit.
