It is set 600 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and offers a shared kitchen. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Dar Hamouda is a charming historical dar in the best and liveliest part of the Medina of Tunis. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom modern. The hosts (Mrs. Amel and her husband) were wonderful and very helpful. We particularly liked the joint breakfast where you could meet and talk to other guests at the dar. This is always a good opportunity to exchange experiences and meet people when travelling.

Guests at the guest house can enjoy a continental breakfast, and breakfast in the room is also available. Guests can eat in the on-site restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, cocktails and high tea. Loved the interior and the room was really spacious and clean. Their spa and hammam-treatment was a really lovely experience. It is close walk to the old medina from the dar, and to the end of the medina to catch cheap taxis. Highly recommend.

The property has inner courtyard views and is 4.3 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum and less than 1 km from Baron d'Erlanger Palace. The bed and breakfast features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The host Raouf was so one of a kind and really made me felt like home. Do not expect the place like a hotel. Sidi bou Said does not have 5 star hotels but this place is like your summer house. Decorated with classical furnitures and elegantly artistic details. The rooms are specious, clean and beautiful. It is just 3 mins walk away from the center. We also exchanged with Raouf about cultures and the history of Sidi bou Said during breakfasts. One of my favourite stays as solo traveller.
