But there are a few things to keep in mind: bring bug spray/mosquito coil, you will need a motorbike once here (or arrive on your own if possible), definitely use the kayaks.

Cleaning every morning. 15 min walk from the beach. 7/11 down the road (400 meters) and a delicious local Thai restaurant on the way (100 meters). The owner was very kind and friendly and spoke English. He let us store our bags for a couple hours after check out. Plus, he has lots of kittens!!

Staying here was a real taste of true Thai Island life. We upgraded our room to a cabin on the front with a sea view, due to having a 2 year old we wanted that convenience. On day one we jumped straight into the sea for a swim, it was warm and idyllic turquoise blue. The food was exceptional! I can honestly say it's the best pineapple rice I've ever had! Actual toast and butter for breakfast, omelettes, pancakes and my Asian husband enjoyed the minced pork and eggs. A real treat. We rented a motorbike easily, there is no grab on the island. The host is very friendly, she helped us with booking a ferry, and we got breakfast and fresh fruit every day. The room was extremely clean and spacious.

The staff (Mai and her crew) were very welcoming and always ready to help. They were providing us with water bottles every day and got fresh towels once during the stay. Area is peaceful and relaxing. The bungalow was clean and spacious, the shower pressure was good. Internet reception was great. They also have little restaurant on the property, which cooks delicious meals that won't break the bank. We had a lovely stay. I really hope Mai gets compensated enough for everything that she does and how much she cares about each and every guest.
