The room was beautifully decorated, felt clean and simple with modern amenities, and super comfortable beds. But the view over the village while sitting on the balcony was definitely the catch. A great place to stay in Ban Rak Thai which afforded a view of the whole village. Stunning at night when all the village lights came on. Huge breakfast delivered to the room in the morning! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.

Host made me breakfast after hours just because I was in hurry to continue the loop. The price to the value is great.

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a wardrobe. With a shared bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, certain units at Ark Guesthouse also have a balcony. The units will provide guests with a fridge. The space is brand new refurbished and done so in a very modern beautiful way. The dorm size was exceptional, there was storage in the rooms and the bathroom. Privacy was good, communal areas were also great, each level had a balcony and places to hang outside the dorm. The location was also really great, just out of the main centre of Pai, next to a big green park that has a community Saturday market. With so much to do in Pai this was one of the best guesthouses I have stayed in that provided a relaxation space.

The house is completely new, super modern, and beautifully furnished. Our room was very clean – and the rooftop offered an absolutely stunning view. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around. Overall, we can only highly recommend staying here and we truly wish the owners all the best for the future.

At the guest house, each unit is fitted with a wardrobe and a private bathroom. Jan the host is incredible. I was welcomed with a hug and left feeling like I have a new little sister. I stayed in a new bungalow at the rear of the property and loved it, quiet and peaceful with a hammock facing a field of cows off the back of the building and a table out front if I wanted to be social, or I could go up to the dining area, pool or billiards room as well. Located near the airport and just far enough away from the walking street that there is peace but close enough that a walk or scooter into town is easy. There is a Monday market a few blocks away, a 7-11 up the road a short walk, Dad can do laundry for a good price and Mom cooks a great pad Thai available to order.

It’s a lovely resort in the middle of the rice fields, and in front of the bamboo bridge. Yes, shower is very simple, as toilets, and accommodation. But you’ll get the best sleep ever, and an unforgettable experience! I booked one night and I stayed seven in total.
