I highly recommend this accommodation. The host, June, is super caring and makes you feel at home instantly. The room was beautiful and felt authentic due to the wooden walls and furniture. Doors to the balcony provided an amazing view of nature, which gave me the feeling I was in the middle of a jungle. Still, the beach was very close by (location: close enough to everything, but still calm and quiet). The room was clean and had everything i needed. Breakfast was really really good. With home made dishes and a lot of fresh fruits (see pictures to know what to expect). During my stay there were two occasions when I was extra happy that I stayed at the Orchid Home: (1) My birthday: my brother had contacted the host to ask if they wanted to pass on a birthday card for me. When they learned it was my birthday, they made a big thing out of it: extra special breakfast, a little birthday cake with candles, and all staff came to sing for me. It was really lovely. (2) I had a little accident with a motor cycle on my last night in Koh Tao: June was there for comfort and helped me as she provided ice packs, iso-betadine, and tea. All and all, I loved staying here. When I come back to Koh Tao, I will stay at the Orchid home again.

Walking distance to the center with lots of restaurants nearby and 7eleven 1 minute walking. Close to the center but silent place. Spacious room with AC and fridge. Staff friendly and English speaking. We also extended more nights with them and no problem with that. They also rent bikes for 200baths and snorkel gear and fins. Totally worth it for everything. Would stay here again.

Close to the beach, shark bay and several dive centres. Only around 10 minutes' drive from the pier. Good options for breakfast. Great views of the forest and the bay from the rooms and the pool.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms. We liked absolutely everything at the accommodation. The remote location was satisfying for us, because you avoid masses of other tourists and allow yourself to fully relax. There is a really nice hiking path to the city, which takes around 40 minutes and you will have a chance to see really nice views on the island and empty sandy beaches with big boulders, which Ko Tao is well known for. If you don't like walking, you don't have to. This resort has an amazing restaurant open from 8am till 8pm and serve such a tasty food, that you won't feel like eating anywhere else. The food and drinks are also very well priced. Another thing you should definitely try is snorkeling. They provided all equipment you need for 100THB per day and you can start exploring the sea bottom right at the private beach, because it's truly amazing what you can see, hundreds of colorful fish and corals. The only negative thing was, we stayed there only for 2 nights, but at least we have a reason to come back when visiting Thailand next time.
