We stayed here whilst walking the Alpe Adria trail. It had everything we needed and was clearly a favourite of the locals. Unfortunately we'd already eaten so didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was delicious and the scrambled egg were the best of our holiday. They grew their own apricots and made wine. They left a couple of bottles in the room to sample on the house and they were delicious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful area and close to many wineries. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and we had very good sleep there. No windows obviously, it is very nicely renowated room from an old wine cellar. We had a huge room with two queen beds and a very good bathroom. The owners offered breakfast which was very good and served in our own little dining room just outside the bedroom. The owners also had very good restaurant recommendations - believe it or not there are some excellent restaurants in this little town. This is a house in a residential area, so parking was no problem at all, and it's only a five minute drive to the caves, so the location is excellent. I highly recommend getting a rental car in Ljubljana, driving to Skocjan Caves to see them on the first day, staying at the Yellow Dreamhouse overnight, then doing the Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle the following day before driving back to Ljubljana, which is what we did. It was a very nice little trip and both caves are amazing in their own way, although if you can only do one I would probably recommend Postojna more.
