Staff were very welcoming and helpful, amazing breakfast well worth it. Only disappointment was the the restaurant is only open on weekends but we got good advice on where to go

Beautiful location, really nice transformation of an old cellar into a beautiful room with character. The garden of the property with the views were to die for. Featuring mountain views, Hiša posebne Sorte features accommodation with patio, around 29 km from Trieste Train Station. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We loved our stay at Hisa Posebne Sorte! The dinner was delicious, staff very friendly, and gave us a great recommendation for a winery to visit. They also helped us find a wonderful e-bike rental so we could spend the day biking around the valley. It has a very small town feel to it, in the best way, and the hospitality was superb. It’s in a great location for cycling, hiking, vineyards, and visiting the caves. They were very eco-friendly, which my wife and I really appreciated.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. The owners were really nice! They even gave us tips on how to best drive to Ljubljana and what we can do there. And they brought us some crepes for breakfast which was suuuper nice! We felt very welcomed and comfortable. Would 100% recommend!

Very good breakfast (though not unforgettable), nice little pastries. Small outdoor courtyard with a patch of grass and a few tables. The room was very spacious and well insulated - we barely heard a thing. Perfect location right in the heart of Kanal. Several free parking options just nearby. Everything is very clean, very white.
