We stayed for 3 nights and had a great experience! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was also very friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and the whole stay very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back!

One of the most beautiful things about this location is the owner. He greeted us with cake and drinks and spent time with us talking about the area and the places to visit. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. Everything was very clean. The location is indeed very close to the lake and the castle. You have beautiful views everywhere and it's a quiet area.There are many restaurants nearby and you can have recommendations from the owner. The prices may be a bit high during summer, so maybe consider visiting during the off-season. 😁

Villa Generoes is a beautiful family run hotel with 120 years of history and carefully renovated. The hosts are very attentive and caring, my bed was made and pyjamas folded under the pillow. For anyone that wants to stay somewhere with amazing character and experience Slovenia like it used to be whilst enjoying modern comforts then this is for you. The location is also great, very close to the lake with a bakery next door

Although the check in It was supposed to be at 3, the lady in the reception gave us the room earlier, we had room no. 4 with a wonderful view of the garden and mountains. She was very helpful in marking on the map the important places to visit during our short stay. Rich breakfast, although we were quite late, we had everything we needed, including the lady at breakfast asked us if we wanted eggs or bacon. Although it was a small stay, it was very nice and we will definitely come back.
