My favourite part of the day was the walk through the garden, through the pickett gate and onto one of the most glorious beaches I have ever seen. The fact that myself and my wife could then enjoy the beach without a sole was ever more special as there is very little accommodation near the beach and it doesn't start to get busy till 10.30.The snorkelling by the rocks left and right is just wonderful. Literally hundreds of fish and so many varieties it was impossible to count. Chantel is a wonderful host and her son Henri cooked a wonderful meal one night for just the 2 of us on their verandah.

I really like the place, it is on a very calm spot with a perfectly shaped French style garden. If you are lucky and there is wind, there will be no mosquitoes and you can enjoy sitting on the terrace even with the light on or in the early hours waiting for the sunset. The cleaning is impeccable, the apartment is well equipped and the air-con is good. It is close to the jetty and next to a bus stop from which you can get to Fond Ferdinand (which 3 minutes from the bus stop when you get off the bus) or on the other side of the island to Anse Lazio by bus, then around 20 minutes by foot. There is a great takeaway over the bus stop with really good choice of food. If you plan to visit Vallée de Mai, you should go to the bus stop on the Jetty junction.

We stayed at the first floor and still- every day we woke up with stunning views. The host was amazing lady,she share all the information upon arrival and the room always was clean. There had everything You need! The house is located at beautiful beach with white fine sand.

All rooms are fitted with a terrace with mountain views. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Called to put us on the allowed guest list for Anse Georgette. Also offered us her bus card to use and her husband offered of take us to a nearby restaurant and to give us a ride back afterward free of change. Extremely kind people.

We had our personal beachfront with a huge yard, barbecue and magical sunsets! Well equipped kitchen with all stuff. 5 min walk to supermarkets. Nice owner Marinette and very helpful Ganga and her husband! Would be happy to return again one day!

Offering panoramic Indian Ocean views, Le Port Guest House is situated just 200 metres from the Jetty. It features a tour desk and a laundry service is available at a surcharge. Free WiFi is available. The room was perfect! Everything we needed was there and more : free water, free wifi, free parking, a tv with Netflix. There is a souvenir shop juste below and a mini market just across the street. The shower was excellent, with unlimited warm water and very big. Balcony with a nice view on the sea. As we stayed 6 nights, the host cooked us dinner for free ! It was really good. She adapted to us as we’re vegan. We ate some breadfruit which I didn’t even know existed… so really interesting to taste new things. We also got small gifts before our departure, very lovely! I would definitely stay again if I ever come back to Praslin.
